Quality Equipment MATTERS
Just because one machine is less expensive doesn't mean it's better value.
When equipping a motorcycle workshop, what are the main considerations? Whether you need the right equipment for lifting, fitting, servicing or repairing;
- Safety
- Efficiency
- Practicality
- Design
- Quality
- Cost
Everyone will have an order of necessity, not everyone can write a blank cheque- that's where taking advice from professionals matters. If you're setting up a Motorbike Repair shop, you might not want to talk to someone who specialises in refrigeration.
When looking at specific equipment you want to ensure that
- It has been designed for its specific use in the motorcycle industry by an expert manufacturer - Not an operation that just copies a machine without consideration of end use
- The machine or equipment uses premium quality materials and components - Note sheet steel and metal/plastic castings are produced in many grades and from any sources
- You are given clear instructions for use and are confident that the equipment will do what you need it for - Not based on a facsimile or plagiarised version
- The supplier is knowledgeable and supports the machine throughout it's working life - Not an anonymous source that may not understand your needs
- Equipment arrives ready to be put to work or with a scheduled installation by a qualified technician - Arrive in a shipping crate with scant instructions or missing parts
When you are confident that you can answer the majority of these factors, the difference in perceived COST can be measured by the difference of equipment you would recommend and invaluable hindsight.
An experienced engineer once stated 'buy cheap, buy twice' and of course, time is money!
